Matthew Creith is an entertainment journalist based in Austin, with work featured in IN Magazine, Screen Rant, and Matinee With Matt. He is a member of the Critics Choice Association, Hollywood Critics Association, and GALECA: The Society of LGTBQ Entertainment Critics. He graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Media, Theory, and Criticism from California State University, Northridge. Since then, he's covered a wide range of movies and TV shows, as well as film festivals like SXSW and TIFF. As a kid of the 1990s, he once appeared on the Nickelodeon show Wild and Crazy Kids, and later as a contestant on Game Show Network's reboot of Lingo, where he and a friend won close to $5,000 and an iPod Nano. His favorite movie of all time is Almost Famous, which might account for his chosen career path as a journalist.
