Halloween treats are an important component of the spooky holiday celebrations. While pre-packaged candy is more convenient to hand out to trick-or-treaters in the neighborhood, cakes, confectionery, brownies and chocolate drinks might score you higher points with hungry ghosts and goblins.

Worried about what to serve your gathering of monsters, ghosts and witches on Halloween? Check out the list below for some cool options!

Ghost cakes, spiderweb chocolate drinks, gummy worms and other treats to add to your menu for Halloween 2025

    1) Ghost cake

This easy-to-create recipe is achieved using round and square-shaped cakes. To make things easier, make cakes readily available and finish with homemade vanilla frosting. Mix black coloring and pipe on with your kit for the eyes and mouth.

    2) Spiderweb chocolate drink

What’s Halloween without themed drinks for added fun? These spiderweb drinks will leave party guests asking for more. They are made using black cocoa and whipped cream. The spider effect on top can be achieved by piping icing on crushed ice.

    3) Jack O’ Lantern cake

A simple way to recreate one of the most popular Halloween themes on a cake is to use store-bought yellow cake mix, marshmallow cream frosting, chocolate eyes and pumpkin spice instant pudding. Slather on your 3-ingredient marshmallow frosting on your baked pudding mix and design with chocolate!

    4) Gummy worms

Gummy worms are an appropriate Halloween snack. You can elevate your servings with chocolate dirt puddings. Swirl the chocolate pudding on a base of vanilla ice cream and add your gummy worms as toppings.

    5) Ghost Brownies

This simple recipe uses brownies from the grocery store and melted white chocolate. Apply white chocolate to the brownies and store-bought black icing for eyes and mouth. You could also spread chocolate glaze for a delicious-looking Halloween treat.

    6) Snack Mix

Are you running out of time on Halloween? Grab a bowl and mix all your favorite treats. The well-known combination of chocolate, peanut butter and sugar is popular for good reason. You can exchange some flavors in the combo for themed sweets like mini candy bars, salted peanuts and candy corn.

    7) Spider cookies

Spider cookies make for creepy treats on Halloween. Bake your cookie batter and push candies into them. You can draw spider legs on the candy for extra fun. Your spider cookies will look good served next to a glass of milk.

    8) White chocolate skulls

Looking to score extra points with your party guests with minimal effort? These white chocolate skulls should be your go-to. All you need is a silicone skull mould, white chocolate and maraschino cherries. Mould the chocolate using the silicone tool, and place the cherries in the sockets for a spooky look.

    9) Mummy lollipop

A mummy lollipop is an attention-grabbing treat for Halloween. Grab your crisp rice cereal, mini marshmallows, cinnamon cereal squares, unsalted butter, and kosher salt. Bake together, and drizzle icing in the shape of a mummy cloth for a creepy look. Insert your lollipop stick, and you are good to go!

    10)  Crispy witch’s hat

You can make the most edible witch’s hat for Halloween 2025 using simple ingredients like chocolate-flavored rice cereal, packaged marshmallows, plain rice cereal, green food coloring and edible gold powder for dusting. Build your cereal mixtures into a cone and a base, add your food coloring, and find dust to achieve the best results.
