A fifth woman has come forward and sued Smokey Robinson in a s*xual battery lawsuit. According to TMZ's July 25, 2025, report, the woman, who used the pseudonym, Jane Doe, filed the suit on July 16, 2025, in Los Angeles, California.

On May 6, 2025, three former housekeepers and one former personal assistant of the singer's wife accused Robinson of allegedly s*xually assaulting and r*ping them between 2007 and 2024. The four anonymous women also claimed they were reportedly overworked and not paid enough.

Smokey Robinson's wife, Frances Robinson, was accused of allegedly enabling his behavior and creating a hostile work environment. The women of Hispanic descent stated that they didn't quit their jobs or speak up because they were scared of the public scrutiny and financial decline. They sought $50 million in damages.

Smokey Robinson has denied all the allegations and filed a $500 million defamation lawsuit against the alleged victims. Christopher Frost, Robinson's attorney, told TMZ that the women have supposedly taken a "hit-and-run" approach to defame a "cultural icon."

Frost also pointed out that the fifth accuser has the same legal team as the previous accusers, referring to them as "interconnected Jane Does."

"Our focus is on exposing the falsity of the Doe lawsuit, where the Does and their lawyers have taken a hit-and-run approach, making allegations against a beloved 85-year-old cultural icon and subsequently refusing to reveal their identities or unequivocally sit for a deposition, where the truth can actually be determined," the singer's attorney said.

The five alleged victims are represented by attorneys John Harris and Herbert Hayden. On May 6, 2025, Harris called Smokey Robinson a "serial and sick r*pist" in a press conference. He claimed his clients were filled with "shame and embarrassment" and for years could not share the details with their family.

John Harris said the women were low-wage housekeepers who couldn't afford to quit their jobs.

"We believe that Mr. Robinson is a serial and sick r*pist, and must be stopped... Having to tell their husbands and children of these despicable actions left them filled with shame and embarrassment. So throughout their dreadful experiences with Mr. Robinson, all four women remained silent," the attorney stated.

According to CNN's May 15, 2025, report, the first accuser claimed she was allegedly r*ped seven times from 2023 to 2024. The second accuser claimed she was reportedly r*ped 23 times from 2016 to 2020.

The third alleged victim stated she was r*ped at least 20 times from 2013 to 2024. The fourth woman worked for Smokey Robinson's wife and accused Frances Robinson of racially charged harassment. She also claimed that she was allegedly r*ped by Smokey twice.

On May 7, 2025, Christopher Frost told The Hollywood Reporter that the allegations were "vile" and "false," and that they were orchestrated to create a "media circus."

"Through this process we have seen the bizarre theatrics of yesterday's news conference, as the plaintiffs' attorneys outlined vile, false allegations against Mr. and Mrs. Robinson, trying to enlist the public as an unwitting participant in the media circus they are trying to create," Smokey Robinson's attorney said.

The s*xual assault lawsuits' investigation is ongoing.
