Below Deck Mediterranean Season 10 Episode 4 was all about tough decision as the deck team is seemingly in trouble. As Captain Sandy soon realises that the deck team will never pull it together, and now she must task Nathan with making his first tough decision of the season.
The newest episode saw Nathan heading towards the wheelhouse to speak with Captain Sandy. Sandy admits to feeling just as upset as Nathan and realizes that a change is in order.
The newest episode also saw V having an emtional moment while thinking whether she would make her boyfriend proud as for now, it seemed like she is still having a "bad relationship with the sea."
Nathan is also seen empathising with Max while telling him that although he understands his frustrations, it is imporatnt for Max to "keep his emotions at bay."
As the teams scatter around to turn over the boat, Captain Sandy calls Nathan to the bridge and aks him to decide as he has to let either Tessa or Christian go.
So, Sandy confronts Nathan while asking him about the decision of who will it be, she asks about the decision right as Below Deck Med Season 10 Episode 4 ends. During all this confusion, Tessa admitedlly says,
“The team feels kinda, like, weak."
In Kizzi’s cabin she is seen speaking on the phone with her boyfriend. However, Kizzi soon admitted that this season is making her doubt the validity of her relationship.
Nathan soon after realised how they needed to make a quick change, he says,
“Things have gone from people being incompetent to being very dangerous,” he noted. “I have to raise my concerns to [Captain] Sandy [Yawn].”
Captain Sandy soon pointed out that it was up to Nathan who needs to step up and make the final call and make a decision that will be beneficial for the deck.
“I think we need to replace Christian or Tessa with someone with more experience,” she explained. “But I want you to figure out based on experience and leadership who you are going to let go. This is your call.”
Chaos ensues on the deck after Christian is asked to uncoil and recoil a line, however, she flicks him off from the safety of his confessional.
As the deck team prepares to dock, Nathan gives out some easy-to-understand directions, as Tessa fails to tie her line tight and as a result the line breaks when she tosses it on the shore.
As Tessa and Christian seemingly took some time off the yacht, which upset an entire docking process. Later Captain Sandy asked Nathan to look into the bow to sort them out.
Nathan does as instructed and later their guest departs while leaving a tip of $20,000.
