Baddies Africa episode 8, which aired on June 29, 2025, followed the cast on a bus ride from Cape Town to Johannesburg, where a tense conversation quickly turned into a physical altercation. The conflict began when Rollie checked in with Tavii Babii about past events, leading to a broader discussion about loyalty and shifting alliances.
Big Lex questioned Tavii’s interactions with Fania, which Tavii defended as serious despite appearing casual. As the conversation escalated, Tavii became upset with Big Lex’s repeated hand gestures near her face. Lex responded by saying,
“Calm down, this is how I talk.”
But Tavii saw the gestures as disrespectful in Baddies Africa. The disagreement continued until it turned physical, with other cast members reacting to the tension. Dolly grabbed Tavii’s chain during the fight, while Fania and Choco Brown shared their views from a different bus, showing how the argument affected group dynamics both on and off the scene.
The argument started when Rollie asked Tavii Babii how she felt after being in a fight the day before. Tavii said she had no regrets and would defend herself no matter who it was. Big Lex then brought up a moment where Tavii was seen talking and laughing with Fania. She asked if Tavii was being real about her friendships or just changing sides.
Tavii said the talk with Fania was serious and that she could be friendly with anyone she wanted in Baddies Africa. Things got more tense when Big Lex began using hand gestures during the talk, which Tavii felt were too close to her face. She said it was a matter of respect. The argument got louder and ended in a fight, with Dolly grabbing Tavii’s chain. The rest of the group reacted to what happened, and the bus ride became one of the most dramatic moments of the episode.
After the fight broke out on the bus, the tension between Tavii Babii and Big Lex didn’t calm down. In her confessional, Tavii said she didn’t understand why Big Lex was suddenly upset with her. She pointed out that just a day earlier, there had been no issues between them.
Tavii wondered if the change in attitude had something to do with her wearing her chain, hinting that Lex’s behaviour might be for the cameras. Tavii also explained that she doesn’t talk with her hands close to other people’s faces because she sees it as a sign of respect. She felt Big Lex crossed a line during the conversation.
Meanwhile, Big Lex said that using hand gestures was normal for her and not meant to be rude. The argument reached a peak when Dolly stepped in and grabbed Tavii’s chain during the fight in Baddies Africa. In her confessional, Dolly made fun of the necklace, calling it “Flavor, flame,” and told Tavii to come get it back if she wanted it.
While this played out in one bus, other cast members were riding in another vehicle. Fania spoke directly about her past issues with Tavii, saying that they never had real problems and that both had only fought to support their friends. She said she still gave Tavii respect.
Choco Brown also supported Tavii, saying she had been clear and consistent in the house. Their comments showed that the group remained divided over what happened on the bus.
