Celebrity Family Feud returned for season 11 on July 10, 2025, with new celebrities competing each week for charity. Hosted by Steve Harvey, the premiere episode featured two matchups—Taraji P. Henson vs. Jennifer Hudson, and The Dan Patrick Show vs. The Rich Eisen Show.
Taraji’s team played for the Boris Lawrence Henson Foundation, while Jennifer’s team supported the Jennifer Hudson Foundation. Steve welcomed both families and kicked off the first round with a question asked to 100 women: What would they do if the diamond in their engagement ring turned out to be fake?
From humorous answers to quick steals, the game brought in a close competition that eventually ended with a sudden death tiebreaker.
In the second half, sports broadcasters Dan Patrick and Rich Eisen led their respective show teams into a game filled with light-hearted questions and team banter.
The Dan Patrick Show played for the Boys & Girls Club of Milford, while The Rich Eisen Show supported St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
After several close rounds and a high-scoring finish, the episode wrapped up with Fast Money and charity donations for both teams.
The premiere episode of Celebrity Family Feud began with Taraji and Jennifer facing off for their respective foundations. In the first round, Taraji’s answer “Give it back” appeared as the sixth answer—“Throw at him.”
Her teammate Jolon guessed “Call up your husband immediately,” which landed at the top spot.
The round continued with April, Marcell, and Tamara offering responses like “Fake it till you make it,” “Trash it,” and “Break up.” After two strikes, Tamara gave the last correct answer—“Cry”—to complete the board.
In the next question, teams had to name the best R&B group of all time in Celebrity Family Feud. Jolon answered “Destiny’s Child,” while other correct responses included “TLC,” “SWV,” and “The Supremes.”
The round ended with the teams debating one answer, as both Taraji and Jennifer objected to “Spice Girls” being listed, pointing out they were a pop group.
Later, the question where Steve asked to name a city where taking the train is easier than driving, this led to answers like “New York” and “Chicago.”
When Taraji’s team failed to steal, the game moved to sudden death. Steve asked Marcell and Razia to name another word for “sexy.”
Razia responded with “Hot,” and Steve confirmed it as the top answer, securing the win for Team J-Hud. Taraji’s team still received a donation for participating.
The next match featured The Dan Patrick Show vs. The Rich Eisen Show in Celebrity Family Feud. The opening question, asked to 100 men, was:, what superhero would they like to be called in the bedroom?
Dan quickly answered “Superman,” which turned out to be the top response. His team followed with answers like “Iron Man” and “Spider-Man.”
Rich answered “Thor,” earning points for his side, but other responses like “Captain America” and “Wolverine” didn’t make the board.
Next, question was to give one good reason why they weren't a nudist, this brought answers like “Too flabby,” “Not endowed,” and “Too shy.”
Chris responded with “I’m fat,” which matched the top answer. Rich’s team collected three strikes after some incorrect responses, passing control back to Dan’s team.
They added “Sunburn” as one of the final correct answers before Steve revealed “Get arrested” and “Saggy skin” as the remaining two.
In the final round with triple points, the question was to name something that gets more valuable the older it gets. Dan’s team gave answers like “Wine,” “Coins,” “My wife,” and “A piece of art.”
This sealed the game and sent Dan and Fritzy to Fast Money in Celebrity Family Feud. Dan earned 100 points with answers like “Flowers” and “New York.”
Fritzy followed up with 119 points, securing $25,000 for their charity. Steve also confirmed a donation for Rich’s team.
