While sitting by the pool, Conor and Shakira had an open conversation about their relationship in Love Island UK. Conor started by acknowledging the ambiguity of their status:

“We're both saying we're open, and single… I don’t want it to be but I suppose that’s what it is until it isn’t.”

Shakira responded by stating her focus was solely on him. She said she only wanted to speak to him. However, Conor admitted that he sometimes felt he was putting in more energy than her. Shakira agreed, explaining that she had emotional walls because of being hurt in the past. She added,

“When you start to like someone, then you put yourself at risk of being hurt.”

“I felt bad… like I denied you that opportunity,” he said.

Later, Meg got a text asking her to go on a date with Dejon in Love Island UK. The two left the villa and had drinks on a terrace at sunset.
