During a  conversation on the Bootleg Kev podcast, Cyhi The Prynce freely spoke about his deep support for Kanye West. He made it clear that his backing never shakes, no matter the talk around Ye's words.

Instead of pulling away when times get tough, Cyhi pointed out how close they are by noting that Kanye changed his life.

His words showed that they share more than just work in music, but also a deep thankfulness. He said:

"That’s my guy, bruh. That man saved my life."

CyHi defends Kanye, saying the public only sees a filtered version of who he is

CyHi spoke on why he doesn't openly slam Kanye West like many people do. He shared that, unlike most people, he knows more about what's behind Kanye's words.

He sees Kanye's full talk, not just small clips online that can seem bad.

    He said:

Me, I’m privy of the conversations behind the scenes... You know when he says what he says in the public, I’m a lot more privy to the full conversation so he gets to explain it more to me versus the public who justs gets a little clip or a little bite."

CyHi said that Kanye explains things more when they're not out in the open, giving his close ones a clear view of what he means.

He pointed out that Kanye acts and speaks differently face to face than in public, hinting that the media shows only bits of his real self.
