Brazilian supermodel Gisele Bundchen celebrated Mother's Day by sharing photos of her newborn for the first time. The 44-year-old took to her Instagram on Sunday, May 4, to post pictures of her baby boy with partner, Jiu-Jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente.

The supermodel also acknowledged her absence on social media since his birth in February, noting she has been living in the "present." Explaining it had been "quiet" but "busy" living, she wrote:

"Sometimes, the most beautiful moments aren’t shared — they’re simply lived. Lately, I’ve been embracing the slower rhythms, the real connections, the beauty in the lessons that come with being present."

The post featured a carousel of photos, including one of her cradling the infant, who is seen wearing a onesie that read, "I (heart emoji) mom." Another featured the baby being embraced in a group hug with his parents and the supermodel's children, Benjamin Rein, 15, and Vivian Lake, 12, with retired NFL quarterback and ex-husband Tom Brady.

"My heart is full" — Gisele Bundchen shares a special tribute to her late mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher

Gisele Bundchen's IG post also featured a tribute to her late mother, Vânia Nonnenmacher, who passed away last January. Sharing a photo of her embracing Vânia, the 44-year-old wrote:

"Today, on Mother’s Day, I specially miss my mom, but my heart is full."

In a statement, Hospital Moinhos de Vento in Porto Alegre, Brazil, announced the supermodel's mother died from cancer on January 28 after being in the hospital for a few days.

Noting that being a mother had been "the greatest gift," she explained that it "humbles (her), teaches (her), and fills (her) with gratitude" every day. Bundchen concluded:

"To all the mothers out there, your love shapes the world in ways words can’t describe. I see you, I honor you. Happy mother’s day! Sending so much love your way!"

Meanwhile, her ex-husband, Tom Brady, paid tribute to his mother in an emotional post on Instagram. He called her the "strongest" and the most "inspiring" woman. He continued to express his gratitude for everything she'd done for her family. He later shared a story wishing a happy Mother's Day to all the "incredible moms" in his life, including Bundchen.

Gisele Bundchen was first linked with Miami-based jiu-jitsu instructor Joaquim Valente in February 2022. At the time, the supermodel shared a video of her session at his self-defense academy, thanking Valente and his brothers (Pedro and Gui) for being "awesome teachers."

Later that year, the pair were spotted vacationing in Provincia de Puntarenas, Costa Rica, along with her two children (Benjamin and Vivian) and others. Notably, the trip came just two weeks after her divorce from Tom Brady was finalized. Speculations spiraled after they were seen out and about together over the next few weeks.

However, in a March 2023 interview with Vanity Fair, Gisele Bundchen denied having a romantic relationship. She told the publication:

"I think, at this point, unfortunately, because I'm divorced, I'm sure that they're going to try to attach me to anything."

She noted that Joaquim was someone she "admire(d)" and "trust(ed)." She noted that the Valente brothers had become "great friends" who have helped her and her children.

While the pair remained elusive about confirming their romance, last February, People magazine (citing an "exclusive source") relayed that they had been together since June 2023. Later that year, the outlet shared photos of Gisele Bundchen and Joaquim Valente enjoying a day at the beach. Notably, the pictures featured the supermodel with her baby bump.

Earlier this year, a "source" told People that Gisele Bundchen intended to have a "home birth." Per the outlet, she was "truly thriving" and the "happiest she's ever been." On February 5, TMZ reported that the supermodel had given birth to her third child. It is worth noting that a name has not been made public as of this writing.
