Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service continues to gain momentum as one of Fox’s key unscripted hits this summer. According to a June 2025 report by Deadline, the series premiered on May 21 and quickly became the network’s most-streamed unscripted summer debut.

The show has become increasingly popular over the years, with episode 3 bringing in 27% more viewers than the premiere. This is based on live + same-day data from Nielsen, showing that more people are sticking with the show and new viewers are joining in.

The show has also done well with adults aged 18-49—a group that’s very important for TV ratings—with a 21% jump since the first episode.

Fox said that Gordon Ramsay’s popularity and the show’s idea are big reasons for this success. As part of Fox’s summer lineup, the show is helping the network stay strong during the 2024–25 season.

Ramsay now has eight shows running, a personal record for him. Along with Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, his other series like Hell’s Kitchen, Next Level Chef, and Kitchen Nightmare continue to do well.

Thanks to steady weekly numbers, Secret Service is helping Fox keep its lead with viewers aged 18-49.

Gordon Ramsay's growing list of shows continues to play a major role in Fox’s ratings strategy.

According to the article, Ramsay now has more shows airing at once than any other TV personality, including Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, Next Level Chef, and the upcoming Next Level Baker.

Fox executives highlighted that his programs are some of the most-watched cooking shows on television. Hell’s Kitchen and Next Level Chef both average 2.5 million viewers per episode, while Kitchen Nightmare averages 2.2 million.

The Deadline report noted that Secret Service’s strong performance has helped keep Fox ahead in the 18-49 demographic.

Ramsay has been a key figure in Fox’s summer programming, with the network attributing part of its success to the uplifting and service-oriented format of Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service, which focuses on surprising deserving individuals with life-changing experiences.

His series joins other top unscripted titles like The Masked Singer and The Floor, which have also contributed to the network’s primetime success.

The Masked Singer reportedly delivered its highest-rated episode in more than two years this season.

As scripted content enters hiatus, Fox’s summer programming has gained traction.

Programs like MasterChef and Lego Masters are also experiencing week-over-week growth, aligning with Ramsay’s continued presence in primetime.

Viewership growth follows shift in audience habits

The rise in Gordon Ramsay's Secret Service viewers shows that more people are choosing to watch fun, unscripted shows during the summer.

According to Deadline, Fox’s full lineup of unscripted shows has gained from this change, with Secret Service becoming the most-streamed unscripted summer debut in the network’s history.

Fox closed out the 2024–25 broadcast season averaging a 0.75 rating in the 18-49 demographic using live + 7-day measurement, putting it ahead of other networks in that category.

Alongside Ramsay’s shows, established series like The Masked Singer and MasterChef have also posted gains.

The Masked Singer, in particular, hit its highest-rated and most-watched episode in over two years and logged its most-streamed episode ever with 549,000 viewers across Hulu and Fox.com in seven days.

While Fox continues refining its scripted lineup, unscripted series like Secret Service, The Floor, and Extracted are helping maintain audience momentum. With these titles drawing strong numbers, Fox appears well-positioned heading into the fall season.
