High Noon is recalling its vodka seltzer cans due to mislabeling. Two lots of the 12 packs of Beach variety drinks were erroneously labeled as Celsius energy drinks. The lots were shipped between July 21 and July 23, 2025.

On Wednesday (July 29, 2025), the US Food and Drug Administration announced that the company is recalling its drinks from Florida, New York, Michigan, Ohio, Virginia, Oklahoma, South Carolina, and Wisconsin.

The announcement stated that the wrongly labeled drinks were labeled as CELSIUS® ASTRO VIBE™ Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, and have a silver lid instead of a black lid.

    The lot numbers of the recalled 12-packs are as follows: L CCC 17JL25 14:00 to L CCC 17JL25 23:59 and L CCC 18JL25 00:00 to L CCC 18JL25 03:00.

The recalled single cans of Celsius drinks have their lot number lasered under the can; it is L CCB 02JL25 2:55 to L CCB 02JL25 3:11.

The US Food and Drug Administration has requested that consumers not drink from the mislabeled cans, as it could lead to "unintentional alcohol ingestion."

The consumers are asked to contact the company's consumer relations at consumerrelations@highnoonvodka.com for their refund.

"High Noon is recalling two production lots of High Noon Beach Variety packs (12-pack/12 fluid ounce cans). Some of these packs contain cans that are filled with High Noon vodka seltzer alcohol and are mislabeled as CELSIUS® ASTRO VIBE™ Energy Drink, Sparkling Blue Razz Edition, with a silver top. Consumption of the liquid in these cans will result in unintentional alcohol ingestion," the announcement reads.

What has Celsius said about High Noon's mislabeling?

Celsius has shared the US Food and Drug Administration's announcement on their official website, and stated that while they had nothing to do with the mishap, they are cooperating with the authorities, GALLO, the beverage's parent company, and a third-party supplier.

"While Celsius was not involved in the production, filling, or distribution of these products, we are working closely with High Noon, GALLO, the US Food and Drug Administration and the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau to ensure consumer awareness and safety," Celsius stated.

Celsius stated that the third-party supplier mistakenly shipped their empty cans to the brand's production facility, and their cans were filled with vodka seltzer.

The mislabeled cans do not contain Celsius drinks, and only the cans are the same. Celsius has expressed that they would make sure such an incident does not occur again.

"While Celsius was not involved in the High Noon mislabeling incident, and the voluntary recall does not involve CELSIUS products, only aluminum cans bearing our artwork, we are nonetheless reviewing our suppliers' quality assurance protocols to ensure they meet or exceed industry standards and prevent future occurrences," Celsius stated.

So far, no reports of consumers being affected by drinking the wrong beverage have been found. The Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau and the US Food and Drug Administration are actively working together with the two beverage brands to recall the mislabeled drinks. Consumers who have bought the wrong drink will be refunded.
