Love Island UK stars Harrison and Lauren have confirmed they are now exclusive following their departure from the Villa. In an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan UK published on July 24, 2025, the couple shared an update on their relationship and where they currently stand.
Although they have not made things official as boyfriend and girlfriend, both said they have closed things off with others and are focusing on each other. Harrison explained,
“Yeah, I would say I've only got eyes for Lauren and I hope it's same [he gestures to Lauren]. This is the first time we're talking about it.”
The two met during Casa Amor, where Harrison quickly formed a connection with Lauren despite having been coupled up with Toni in the main Villa. When Harrison returned with Lauren, it led to a complicated love triangle that lasted several days.
Eventually, Lauren was dumped after Angel recoupled with Ty, and she asked Harrison to leave the Love Island UK Villa with her. He initially stayed, but chose to exit the next night. Since leaving, the two have spent most of their time together and made their first public post as a couple just one day before the interview.
Lauren and Harrison’s relationship began during Casa Amor, when Harrison, then coupled with Toni, developed a new connection with Lauren. Upon returning to the main Villa of Love Island UK, he chose to bring Lauren back, surprising the other Islanders and setting off one of the most discussed love triangles of the season.
Despite returning with Lauren, Harrison told Toni she should still consider choosing him at the next recoupling. This suggestion came shortly after he and Lauren had become intimate, which confused him when Toni chose him at the fire pit. Lauren, left single, was paired with Ty.
However, Harrison and Toni continued to struggle with clarity about their connection in Love Island UK. Meanwhile, Lauren and Harrison stayed close. Things shifted again when new bombshell Angel recoupled with Ty, leaving Lauren single and prompting her exit from the Villa.
Before leaving, Lauren asked Harrison to walk away with her. He didn’t go that night, but the next evening, he announced to the group that he had decided to leave to be with Lauren. Reflecting on the decision, Harrison told Cosmopolitan,
“I left the Villa to pursue things with Lauren. I feel like we don't really need to speak about it either… we both know where our heads are at.”
During the interview, both Harrison and Lauren said they hadn’t had a formal conversation about their relationship status but believed they were already on the same page. Harrison emphasized that he wants Lauren to meet his family before making their relationship official. He added,
“That will be coming in the next week or so. I have no doubt we'll be boyfriend and girlfriend very soon.”
When asked if they were exclusive but not officially in a relationship, Harrison agreed, noting that he had eyes only for Laured. He said this was the first time they were openly discussing their status.
Lauren echoed the sentiment, explaining that although they haven’t defined the relationship in specific terms, their actions and understanding made things clear.
“I feel like we've just not had to say it, like we just know,” she said.
She also pointed out that they made their first public post together recently, calling it “a big thing.” Since leaving the Love Island UK Villa, the two have reportedly spent most of their time together and appear committed to moving forward as a couple.
