Love Island UK 2025 has already brought a lot of drama, new couples, and emotional goodbyes as the Islanders try to find love. Since the show began, many contestants have been sent home through public votes, surprise twists, and recoupling decisions.
Now in its 12th season, the show is hosted by Maya Jama and follows a new group of Islanders as they deal with the ups and downs of love in the villa.
As of July 3, 2025, the following Islanders have been eliminated from the villa:
The most recent dumping happened in the July 3 episode, where Alima and Ryan were sent home. The twist came after new bombshell Billykiss Azeez chose to couple up with Conor Phillips, leaving Alima single. Ryan, who only spent a short time in the villa, was also left single after none of the girls stepped forward to couple up with him.
The July 3 episode of Love Island UK brought an unexpected recoupling twist that led to the departure of two Islanders. Bombshell Billykiss Azeez was introduced to the main villa, and the boys were asked to step forward if they wanted to couple up with her. Conor Phillips stepped forward, choosing Billykiss and effectively ending his connection with Alima.
Next, the girls were asked to step forward if they wanted to couple up with new bombshell Ryan Bannister. However, none of the girls chose him, resulting in Ryan being left single and automatically dumped from the island.
The Islanders received a text at the fire pit confirming the news: both Alima and Ryan were going home in Love Island UK. Ryan, who was only in the villa for a day, said in his exit interview:
“It’s been a bittersweet experience… I wish I got an opportunity to turn a few more heads but it is what it is.”
Alima’s elimination was particularly emotional for many in the villa, especially Yasmine, who had formed a close bond with her. The unexpected departure left the group shaken as they prepared for the next round of bombshells and challenges.
Before the dramatic exit of Alima and Ryan on July 3, several other Islanders had already left the villa under different circumstances. The season’s first elimination took place early, when Sophie Lee was dumped after her partner Harry Cooksley chose to recouple with Shakira. Sophie became the first contestant to leave the show, highlighting how quickly the game could change in just one decision.
Blu Chegini’s elimination followed in Episode 5 after she and new boy Shea Mannings were left single during recoupling. Unable to come to a mutual decision, the two let the group vote on who should stay. The Islanders chose to save Shea, resulting in Blu’s departure.
Malisha Jordan’s exit came after a twist involving bombshell Harrison, who was given the power to decide between Malisha and Toni following individual dates. Ultimately, Harrison chose Toni, leaving Malisha to pack her bags. Speaking after her departure, Malisha said,
“Did he make the right choice? We’ll soon find out.”
The most surprising elimination came when four contestants were dumped during the Sleepover twist in Love Island UK. Dejon, Emily, Remell, and Helena had to choose between sticking with their original partners or recoupling with bombshells.
Caprice Alexandra, Poppy Harrison and Will Means were all sent home after not being picked. Helena chose to bring back Giorgio from the Sleepover villa. Since Shea wasn’t picked by any girl, he was dumped.
