“I’ll believe it when I see it” — Love Island UK star Toni questions Harrison’s promise after he asks for another chance

Love Island UK aired a new episode on July 3, 2025, continuing the ongoing drama and shifting relationships inside the villa. The episode followed the aftermath of Alima and Ryan’s dumping and highlighted new tensions, particularly between Toni and Harrison.

After Toni ended things in the previous episode, Harrison took time to reflect and approached her again in hopes of reconciliation. However, Toni was hesitant to trust his words,

“What we have is not worth throwing away… I’m willing to put in the work to win you back," Harrison said.

To this, Toni responded, saying,

“I’ll believe it when I see it.”

Meanwhile, Harry continued to navigate his connection with Shakira and growing chemistry with Helena. A heart-to-heart with Dejon led Harry to admit that things felt different with Helena, especially in terms of energy and banter. Helena later told Meg and Dejon that she wanted to go to the Hideaway with Harry, which led to a private conversation where Harry admitted he liked Shakira but still thought about Helena.

The islanders also participated in the Superman challenge, where the group tested each other’s traits in a playful but revealing competition. The task led to rising tension, especially after Meg and Dejon called Harry the least honest, and Yasmin accused Dejon of lacking dedication.

Harrison opens up to Toni, but she remains cautious in Love Island UK

After reflecting on Toni ending their connection, Harrison decided to speak to her again and ask for another chance in Love Island UK:

“I was wanting to know where your head is at and if you’re willing to give me another chance?” he asked.

Toni responded, “Why should I?” expressing hesitation. Harrison explained, “I’m ready to make the decision…” before Toni interrupted:

“So you're going to continue to get to know her [Helena]?”

Harrison assured Toni that he wouldn’t continue things with Helena and said their connection was worth fighting for. Toni responded that she would believe it only when she saw it, still unsure.

Their conversation came after Toni ended things with Harrison in the last episode of Love Island UK. Harrison now seemed ready to focus on her again, which could change things between them. Their connection has been up and down, partly because of his interest in Helena.

Although they didn’t fully sort things out, Harrison made it clear he wanted to try again. It’s still unclear if Toni will give him another chance.

The Superman challenge causes new tensions in Love Island UK villa

The islanders received a text announcing the Superman challenge, asking them to embrace their inner Lois Lane and Clark Kent. Dressed in office outfits, the boys stepped through a revolving door and transformed into Superman. Each couple had to lift a steel girder while picking up a newspaper with a trait and then vote on which boy had the most and least of that trait.

During the task, Meg and Dejon named Harry as the least honest, which led to discomfort from Shakira. She later asked Helena to clarify what Harry had been telling her. Harry previously told Helena,

“I do like her, but obviously there’s always going to be you at the back of my mind. I know I’m going to have to make a decision at some point but it isn’t today,” he admitted.

Tension also rose when Yasmin and Gio picked Dejon as the least dedicated in Love Island UK. Yasmin felt Dejon hadn’t fully committed to the experience and brought up Billykiss, who had shown interest in him. Billykiss pointed out that he acted differently when she wasn’t around. Dejon questioned her intentions, asking if she just wanted screen time. The challenge ended with tensions still unresolved.
