Love & Marriage: Huntsville returned with its season 10 premiere on Saturday, July 19, 2025, on OWN. The episode reintroduced familiar cast members while setting up a new chapter focused on personal growth, shifting relationships, and family tensions. According to the network, “the winds of change are sweeping through the city of Huntsville,” and the premiere laid the foundation for those transitions.
Martell Holt continued to navigate life after divorce, contemplating his next steps. Chris and Nell Fletcher experienced growing tension as they disagreed over how to raise their grandchildren, while Nell stood by Chris when faced with outside criticism.
Destiny Payton stepped into her single era after discovering that her ex, Lance, had fathered a child during their relationship.
Meanwhile, LaTisha and Marsau dealt with their oldest child leaving for college while attempting to move past gossip. Kimmi and Maurice Scott were also featured, as their parenting style came under scrutiny from Kimmi’s son, Jaylin. The episode also introduced LaTricia Reedus and her emotional dilemma between her partner Ken Lee and estranged husband Marques.
Blended family struggles, confrontations, and unresolved issues took center stage in this first episode, laying the groundwork for a season focused on accountability and emotional shifts.
Martell Holt began the season by thinking about life after his divorce. He seemed ready to take the next step, even though he didn’t share a clear plan yet.
His calm and thoughtful attitude showed a change from before. Destiny Payton also returned. She found out that her ex, Lance, had a child with someone else while they were still dating.
After learning this, she chose to focus on her single life and move forward in Love & Marriage: Huntsville. Chris and Nell Fletcher were dealing with a different problem.
Now that they were grandparents, they didn’t agree on how to raise the children. Things got harder when people in Huntsville started talking about Chris’s parenting.
Nell stood up for him, even though they had different opinions, and showed that they were still a team. Each of these stories showed how the cast members are handling big changes in their lives in Love & Marriage: Huntsville.
Martell was looking inward, Destiny was letting go of the past, and the Fletchers were trying to balance family and outside judgment.
These situations may lead to bigger moments later in the season. While nothing was fully solved in the premiere, it set the stage for stories about trust, growth, and family life.
LaTisha and Marsau’s story in the episode showed two main issues—they were preparing to send their oldest child to college and dealing with rumors about their marriage.
Even though they seemed united in public, a family member who returned started asking questions, hinting that more problems might be coming.
At the same time, Kimmi and Maurice Scott faced tension at home in Love & Marriage: Huntsville. Kimmi’s son, Jaylin, spoke up and said he thought Maurice was being unfair in the way he handled parenting.
He felt there were different rules for different people. The episode didn’t show Maurice giving a full answer, but the moment added pressure to an already tricky family situation.
LaTricia Reedus, who joined the main cast this season, had her own problems. She was stuck between her current partner, Ken Lee, and her estranged husband, Marques.
Marques came back and brought up old feelings that LaTricia hadn’t fully dealt with. She wanted to move on, but his return made her think about her past and what she really wanted in life.
These stories helped set up what’s to come in future episodes of Love & Marriage: Huntsville.
Each family is facing big choices, and the season looks ready to explore the ups and downs of those decisions.
Stay tuned for more updates.
