America's Got Talent season 20 continued with episode 6 on July 8, 2025, airing at 8 pm ET on NBC. The two-hour audition episode featured a wide range of acts, including a 10-year-old guitarist, a laser dance crew, a muscle contortionist, and more. Among the standout performers was Anna Saranina, whose crossbow danger act caught the attention of all four judges.
Anna’s performance involved high-risk stunts and precision, leading to praise from the judges. Mel B especially admired her confidence and courage:
“I think you are so bad *ss. You're like the ultimate girl power standing right there,” she said.
The other judges were equally intrigued, with Simon Cowell going a step further by stepping on stage to test the danger of the act himself. Anna earned four yes votes from Simon, Mel B, Sofia Vergara, and Howie Mandel, securing her a place in the next round. Her performance stood out not just for the danger element but also for the powerful energy and stage presence she brought to the show.
After Anna Saranina completed her initial performance, the judges shared their thoughts on the danger act. Simon Cowell noted that the routine felt slow at times and asked Anna to demonstrate the danger more clearly. He then stepped on stage to allow Anna to fire a crossbow at a target near him, aiming to understand the level of risk involved.
Sofia Vergara called the act a strong display of control,
“It was entertaining, sexy, dangerous. It means so much to you that we're all rooting for you,” she shared.
Howie Mandel also voted yes, commenting on her presence and the tension created by the performance. Mel B added her support as well, making it a full panel of yes votes and advancing Anna to the next round of America's Got Talent. Simon, after taking part in the demonstration, acknowledged the act’s uniqueness and praised Anna’s focus throughout the routine.
He said, “If you're gonna go forward, this is very slow,” before stepping on stage, but later appreciated the experience of seeing the danger firsthand. The performance stood out during the July 8 episode, as Anna was the only danger act to receive unanimous approval from all four judges.
In addition to Anna Saranina’s danger act, the July 8 episode of America's Got Talent season 20 featured several performances that stood out. Bay Melnick Virgolino, a 10-year-old guitarist from New York, impressed all four judges with his riffs and energy. Sofia Vergara praised him,
“I think you're one of the coolest kids I've ever met,” she said.
While Howie Mandel called him “amazing” and “memorable.” Mike Munz, a muscle contortionist from Florida, received four yeses for his control and physical strength on America's Got Talent. Simon Cowell reacted by saying,
“I wasn’t expecting that. I’ve never seen anyone have so many muscles in their body and to control them all over.”
Mel B and Sofia also praised the surprise factor in his act. The episode also introduced Gendai, a laser dance crew from Japan. Their high-tech routine earned three yeses, with Simon describing it as “incredible” and unexpected. Sofia added that she wasn’t confused, but "was in shock." She added that she was excited for them because this was something they "haven't seen."
Each act brought something different to the stage, contributing to an audition episode filled with variety, precision, and crowd reactions.
