Now You See Me: Now You Don't reunites the talent from the previous films. As the confident Four Horsemen leader J. Daniel Atlas, Jesse Eisenberg returns. Mentalist and hypnotist Merritt McKinney is played by Woody Harrelson again. Sleight-of-hand expert Jack Wilder (Dave Franco) returns. Atlas' former flame and escape artist Henley Reeves (Isla Fisher) returns. The magician-turned-debunker Thaddeus Bradley is played by Morgan Freeman.
Justice Smith acts as Charlie, a magic enthusiast and technical wizard. Dominic Sessa plays risk-taking illusionist Bosco Leroy, while Ariana Greenblatt plays June, a smart and agile magician who is vital to the team. An evil crime family matriarch, Veronika Vanderberg, is played by Rosamund Pike.
The trailer for Now You See Me: Now You Don’t stages an exhilarating and high-stakes adventure that's yet to come. It begins with J. Daniel Atlas (Jesse Eisenberg) addressing the audience,
"Did you think we abandoned you? Or that we’d run out of magic? Well, think again, ladies and gentlemen."
After a long absence, the Four Horsemen return in the trailer. It has been a decade since The Horsemen last appeared, Atlas states announcing their return.
Merritt (Woody Harrelson) jokes, "Still got it," confirming that they still have the same magical abilities as in previous films. The team discusses their biggest challenge, building tension. "We have three days to prepare a trick... bigger and better than anything you have ever seen," he says.
With "ten million to one" odds, the Horsemen plan a daring heist. Charlie (Justice Smith), a newcomer, exclaims, "Those are my kind of odds". The trailer then takes a dramatic turn as the group faces off against a new adversary, Veronika Vanderberg (Rosamund Pike), the villainous matriarch of a criminal syndicate.
