Pete Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt's relationship timeline explored as they reportedly move in together

Pete Davidson and girlfriend Elsie Hewitt have taken the next step in their relationship. Citing "sources with direct knowledge," TMZ on Wednesday, May 14, 2025, reported that the couple has been living under the same roof for the past few months.

Per the outlet, the pair have been "splitting their time" between the comedian's home in upstate New York and a brownstone property they recently started renting in Brooklyn. The insider suggested that the couple's rental contract has an option to buy if they decide to, an idea Davidson and Hewitt were reportedly exploring.

Elaborating on the couple moving in together, an exclusive source told People magazine:

"They’re so happy together and doing great."

Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt first sparked dating rumors in March when the Daily Mail published photos of the pair enjoying a weekend in Palm Beach, Florida. The pictures showed the couple holding hands, cuddling, and kissing. Notably, at the time, Hewitt's identity remained unknown.

Before meeting Elsie, Pete was dating Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline. They broke up last July after dating for about ten months. Meanwhile, Hewitt was reportedly romancing We're the Millers actor Jason Sudeikis, reported US Weekly. Per the outlet, paparazzi first spotted the pair together in January 2024 in West Hollywood and later at the U.S. Open in New York City in September.

During his sit-down with Drew Barrymore on her namesake show in January 2025, the Saturday Night Live alum shared an insight into his dating philosophy. Pete Davidson told the host:

Davidson explained that he grew up with "all ladies in the house," referencing his mother, Amy Water Davidson, and sister, Casey Davidson. His father, Scott, a fireman, died during the September 11, 2001, attacks. The comedian continued:

"So, I act pretty feminine."

A few weeks after the interview (March 17), Page Six reported that Pete Davidson began dating a "non-celebrity" girlfriend. Citing a source, the outlet relayed that the person was "very different from anybody else he’s ever dated before," adding that she respects the comedian and his "desire for privacy."

The insider also told Page Six that Davidson's mother and sister "approved" of their relationship. Just days after the report, the Daily Mail published the pictures from Palm Beach. Not long after, Page Six "exclusively confirm(ed)" that the mystery girlfriend was Elsie Hewitt, a model who previously dated Benny Blanco and Ryan Phillippe.

By the end of March, the couple went Instagram official after the model shared pictures from a wedding they attended in Scotland. Per Glamour, Pete Davidson and Elsie Hewitt were guests at rocker Dave Navarro’s wedding. Her post included several pictures from the trip, including them being cute together.

In April, paparazzi spotted the pair together sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden watching the Knicks play the Suns. This week, the couple wore coordinated outfits as they stepped out for a stroll in NYC, reported E! News.
