Rashida Nicole (Photo: Instagram/@iamrnicole)Reality TV star Rashida Nicole is criticizing an unnamed woman for allegedly "harass(ing)" her to get an abortion. Taking to her Instagram stories on Sunday, July 13, 2025, the Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta alum slammed a woman who kept "talking about (her)."
Calling the said person "ob(s)essed," Nicole added:
"This lady has harassed me the entire time behind the scenes, trying to have ppl call me to abort my baby, wishing death on my unborn child and much more! I'm done."
Nicole's post comes just days after her husband, LiAngelo Ball, filed for a divorce. Citing the court documents filed on July 3, TMZ Sports reported that he cited "irreconcilable differences" as a reason. Notably, Rashida Nicole went public with her relationship with the basketball player-turned-rapper in February 2025.

At the time, the reality TV star expressed feeling a roller coaster of emotions, including being "grateful, terrified, anxious, nauseous, (and) HANGRY." She also noted that this was her second child, having given birth to her daughter as a teen mom. Thanking her eldest child, Nicole wrote:
"As a teen mom, I was always hesitant about going thru pregnancy and parenthood again. (Iykyk) I want to thank my daughter for being here for me during this process, always demonstrating unconditional LOVE & reassuring me that, “Everything is alright!"
It is worth noting that LiAngelo Ball (a.k.a. Gelo) did not feature on the post or the caption. However, he liked the post and left a comment featuring three emojis—a red heart, a fire, and a lock and key.
However, last week, TMZ Sports reported that Gelo had filed for a divorce. Per the outlet, the couple tied the knot on March 24, 2025, and separated on June 15. He cited "irreconcilable differences" as a reason. Further, he was asking for joint custody and visitation and asked for no spousal support for either party.
In her Instagram story, Rashida Nicole explained that she was "trying to chill" because of the pregnancy, but people were "focused on blaming" her for their problems. She continued to add:
"He decided to leave."
Rashida Nicole continued to add:
"And just a PSA: My due date is in December so again yall do the math!"
This prompted netizens to believe the unnamed woman in question was Gelo's ex, Nikki Mudarris (a.k.a. Miss Nikki Baby).
For context, in February 2025, Mudarris accused Ball of "walk(ing) out" on their family. According to People, in a now-deleted IG post, the Love & Hip-Hop: Hollywood alum claimed many people alerted her to the former athlete's alleged infidelity. She explained that she was "just as surprised," adding that after three and a half years together, Ball "decided to walk out on his kids and (her)."
Notably, the pair share two children together—son LaVelo, 1, and daughter LaNiyah, who was born in December 2024. She added that it felt like the "ultimate betrayal." In the post, Mudarris also claimed Ball got "someone else pregnant" and wanted to start a new life with her.
Netizens believed Rashida Nicole's "math" remark was referencing Mudarris' post, which suggested it was Rashida who Gelo left Nikki for.
Further, internet users speculate that the story is also a response to Miss Nikki Baby's appearance on the Jason Lee Show this weekend. During the episode, she broke down her split from Gelo. This included suggesting that he "got someone pregnant" while they were together and her daughter was just a few weeks old.
It is worth noting that LiAngelo Ball has previously stated (February 2025 appearance on the Baller Alert Show) that he did not abandon his children, adding that he and Nikki had parted ways. In an interview with Billboard earlier this month, Gelo addressed the public reaction to his separation from Rashida Nicole. He noted that it didn't "bother (him) too much," especially comments made by strangers online.
