Love Island UK aired a new episode on July 4, 2025, and tensions rose as Shakira questioned Harry’s honesty regarding his connection with Helena. During a conversation by the Daybeds, Shakira brought up conflicting information revealed during the Superman challenge.
“You said you’ve fully ended it with Helena, [and that] there's nothing there with her… Then all of a sudden Meg stands up, who's Helena's best friend, and says that you're telling two different girls two different things. Something's not adding up there,” she told Harry.
Harry insisted he had been honest, but the moment raised doubts ahead of his planned Hideaway visit with Helena. The episode also featured a fiery argument between Dejon and Billykiss, an unexpected recoupling twist, and a surprise VIP performance by Katy B, leaving Love Island UK villa on edge and viewers eager to see what’s next.
After the Superman challenge caused tension in Love Island UK villa, Shakira chose to talk to Harry about his connection with Helena. In the challenge, Islanders shared their honest opinions, and Meg claimed Harry wasn’t being truthful — saying he was telling different girls different things.
Since Meg is close to Helena, Shakira took what she said seriously. Later, while sitting by the Daybeds, Shakira told Harry she had thought he had ended things with Helena. But after hearing Meg’s comments, she started to feel like he might not be telling everyone the same story, and that something didn’t add up.
Harry responded by saying he believed he had been honest with Shakira, but he didn’t say much more. His short answer seemed to leave Shakira feeling unsure, especially since he and Helena had been getting closer. With a Hideaway night coming up, Shakira’s doubts about Harry became even more serious.
Their conversation ended without any clear answers, and it was unclear whether Shakira still trusted him. Harry didn’t directly respond to what Meg had said, which added to the confusion. After everything, it seemed like Shakira’s trust in him had been shaken — and the mood in the villa had clearly changed.
Tensions in the villa went up after the Superman challenge, especially between Dejon and Billykiss. During the challenge in Love Island UK, Dejon was called the “least dedicated.” The comment came from Yasmin, but things got more intense when Billykiss stepped in. Later, Dejon tried to talk to Billykiss to clear things up, but the chat didn’t go well.
Dejon said he was trying to talk to Yasmin and didn’t expect Billykiss to get involved. He felt it wasn’t her place to step in and tell him he should stop things with Meg. He also said that her reaction made the situation more difficult.
Billykiss replied that she wasn’t trying to stop him from getting to know others, but she felt his actions didn’t match what he was saying.
“No, you can explore if you want to, but don’t say it if you’re not actually going to… I feel like you just need to entertain people and feed your ego,” she told him.
As both tried to get their points across, the conversation turned into a heated back-and-forth on Love Island UK. Neither was willing to back down, and they ended up speaking over each other without resolving the issue. Eventually, Dejon walked away from the conversation,
“Billykiss, I'm not going to keep begging to speak,” he said.
Billykiss reacted by muttering, “Good for him,” as the situation remained unresolved.
