Comings to The Young and the Restless July 2025

Fans of The Young and the Restless were thrilled to see some of their favorite characters come back this month. Valarie Pettiford, who plays Amy Lewis, came back to the show after a long break. Her return will add emotional depth to the story, especially in her scenes with Nate (played by Sean Dominic), since she is Damian's mother and died. Amy's return, which will air on July 30, will bring up some tough topics as she deals with the tragic death of her son.

One of the best things about the July 2025 episodes has been Mishael Morgan's return as Amanda Sinclair. There was a lot of talk about Morgan's return, and it finally happened earlier this year. Her character is once again caught up in the drama at Chancellor-Winters.

While Jill tries to solve the problem between Devon and Billy, Amanda's return creates tension because she has a complicated past with several important characters, such as Devon, Abby, and Nate.

Conner Floyd's return as Chance Chancellor in July 2025 is also a big deal. Along with him, Vincent Stalba's return as Cane's executive assistant Carter adds more drama to the story as he has powerful scenes with Chance, Cane (Billy Flynn), and Lily (Christel Khalil).

As the investigation into the crime goes on, his role is becoming more important. Floyd's performance as Chance keeps getting better, which makes him an important part of the mystery that's engulfing Genoa City.

Goings from The Young and the Restless July 2025

Among all the happy returns to The Young and the Restless in July 2025, but there was also a big departure. It was shocking when Jermaine Rivers, who played Damian, quit the show. In the July 14 episode, Damian was poisoned and stabbed.

On July 15, 2025 Jeramaine posted a video on Twitter, emntioning  Rivers went on to confirm in the video itself that, “that’s what it is. At least for now. Damian Kane has met an untimely demise.”

He then mentioned how grateful he was

“to bring a character like Damian to life the last seven, eight months. I got to play a multitude of emotions, to really flesh out who this person was, with all his complexities, with his relationship with his mom, with his half brother, his friends, best friend and potential love interest. We got to go on a ride and really play into these moments truthfully.”

The Young and the Restless episodes are available to stream on CBS.
