Everything that happened in The Young and the Restless on July 29, 2025

On The Young and the Restless on July 29, 2025, the fallout from the events at Cane’s chateau continues to unfold.

Kyle packs in his train car and receives a flood of messages from Summer and Claire. Realizing Harrison is asleep in Milan, he calls Claire, who answers from the tackhouse.

Kyle updates her about the storm, the washed-out roads, and the chaos at the chateau. When he asks about Cole, Claire breaks down and tells him her father has died from Legionnaires’ disease.

Kyle is stunned as Claire explains the family is holding a memorial that day. They express love, and disconnect as Victoria joins Claire and discusses the loss.

At the chateau, Cane sits in his study, consumed by guilt. Amanda enters and tries to offer support. He blames himself for not recognizing Carter’s instability, noting that three people have died.

Amanda reveals she unjammed the cell signal to help the authorities. She assures him the investigation is over and he is in the clear, but Cane remains unsettled.

Despite the damage, he insists on continuing his plan to get Lily back. Amanda warns him that the circumstances have changed and he has gained more enemies, but she agrees to stay by his side.

In the main train car, Diane, Jack, Billy, Phyllis, and Sally reflect on the recent deaths. Jack is furious, holding Cane responsible, while Phyllis and Billy defend him.

Audra arrives and faces judgment from Diane and Sally. Phyllis and Billy discuss his proposal to team up again, raising Jack’s suspicion. Billy hints at changes ahead once they return to Genoa City.

At the tackhouse, Nate arrives to support Victoria and Claire. He steps outside to take a call from Lily, who informs him that Damian has been murdered by Carter.

She explains that Carter acted out of loyalty to Cane, believing Damian was a romantic threat. Nate is devastated and prepares to break the news to Amy.

He returns inside and shares the information with Victoria and Claire, struggling with the loss of a brother he barely got to know. Back in her train car, Lily is emotional when Cane stops by to say goodbye.

She blames him for everything that has happened and tells him not to return to Genoa City. Cane insists he still believes in their bond, but Lily shuts him down completely and begs him to stay away.

Finally, Kyle informs Jack and Diane about Cole’s death, then lashes out at Audra for her role in trapping him there. Tensions remain high as the train prepares to depart.
