Nick remains in pain from his injuries but is stable thanks to Sally’s quick thinking and Sharon’s support. After making it back to the train car, Nick asks Sharon to stay close and shares an emotional moment with her.

This leads to a kiss, signaling that unresolved feelings may still linger.

Meanwhile, Sally hikes to check on the train tracks and learns they were repaired two days ago.

This raises new questions about the extent of Cane’s deception and what else he might have been hiding during their captivity in the mountains.

Nikki demands proof as Amanda leads a search

Lauren tries to dissuade Nikki from handing over Chancellor to secure Nick’s freedom, but Nikki remains adamant about seeing her son first.

Amanda leads them to the storage room, where they are horrified to find Nick’s blood, evidence of his injury. The group quickly works to reestablish cell service, and Amanda contacts the police.

Carter confesses to murder before taking Lily hostage

Chance is killed protecting Cane, and Carter dies by suicide

Cane offers himself in Lily’s place as Carter’s hostage. Carter agrees and turns his gun on Cane, intent on killing him.
