According to Tigerlily, Adnan believed he had been placed in her life for a reason: to guide her toward his faith. This shift created tension and uncertainty for her especially with their child on the way. She shared that she felt a lot of pressure.

While heading to the airport to meet Adnan for his arrival in the U.S. she admitted that the excitement of reuniting had been replaced with hesitation. The timing of his expectation made her question how aligned they really were as partners.
