Usher has cancelled 12 dates of his Australia Arena shows of his Past Present Future tour. On Friday (July 4, 2025), the ticketing platform Ticketek announced that the tour's promoter had told them that the Australian dates had been cancelled.
"The promoter of USHER's Australian Tour regrets to advise that the scheduled shows to take place in November/ December, will no longer be proceeding," Ticketek stated.
According to People magazine's July 4, 2025, report, Live Nation, another events and ticketing company, stated that the buyers would be given a refund, and they don't have to take any further action to get their money back. The refund would take 30 business days to process.
"All tickets purchased (including refundable ticket purchases, if relevant) will be automatically refunded in full to the original payment method used. Customers do not need to take any action. Customers should allow approximately 30 business days for the refund to appear in their account," Live Nation stated.
The R&B singer's Past, Present, and Future world tour was in support of his 2024 album Coming Home. It began on August 20, 2024, and in November 2025, Usher was supposed to perform six shows at Melbourne's Rod Laver Arena and another six shows at Sydney's SuperDome Arena. The singer has not released any statement regarding the tour cancellation.
For the unversed, last month Amazon CEO Jeff Bezos and his girlfriend of six years, Lauren Sánchez, had a star-studded wedding in Venice, Italy. The three-day-long celebration started on June 26, 2025. The couple welcomed their celebrity guests with a party.

An insider told the media outlet that the Amazon CEO and his wife were fans of their music, and the DJ has performed at many exclusive celebrity events.
"Cassidy is known for these types of parties — he's a go-to who's performed at a lot of the other guests' events like Oprah's school opening, Kris Jenner's 60th [birthday party], Kourtney [Kardashian]'s wedding and Dolce & Gabbana's parties, so the couple is a fan... [Usher and DJ Cassidy are] going to set the tone. Tonight is all about the music. It's the culmination, the final big party," the insider stated.
According to The New York Post's July 3, 2025, report, the R&B singer performed his 2004 song, Yeah! at the pajama-themed party.
For the unversed, Usher's last studio album, Coming Home, was released on February 9, 2024. The album was produced by producer Zaytoven, and it features BTS member Jungkook, Burna Boy, Summer Walker, 21 Savage, The-Dream, H.E.R., Pheelz, and Latto.
