In one of the recent episodes of Wheel of Fortune, a contestant solved the Bonus Round with great ease and speed, shocking co-host Ryan Seacrest. The hairstylist ended up winning $75,000 in total after she solved the challenging bonus puzzle with lightning-fast speed.

The contestant, Jodi Hope, hails from Chesapeake, Virginia. She competed against Sabrina Hall from Warner Robins, Georgia, and John Meneghini from Woolridge, Illinois, on the episode that aired Friday, October 17.

Jodi has been a hairstylist for almost three decades and couldn’t resist touching co-host Ryan Seacrest’s hair. She even brought him a professional hair dryer as a gift..

Wheel of Fortune winner celebrated a historic milestone on the show 

Wheel of Fortune just celebrated a landmark milestone as Christina Derevjanik won the game and earned a cash prize of $1,035,155. The winner later said to the production that she was trying to manifest this big win, adding that she was hoping for confetti but never thought it would actually happen.

Co-host Vanna White also headed over to Derevjanik after her historic win was announced and expressed her excitement, saying she is happy for Christina. 

“I was trying to manifest this. I was hoping for confetti, but I never thought it would actually happen.”

In the Wheel of Fortune's history, only four players, including Derevjanik, have been able to take home $1 million. Ryan Seacrest also celebrated the record-breaking victory. He said,

“Congratulations, you’re my first million-dollar winner. I have a tear in my eye.”
