Ali Lima is one of the contestants who got engaged during season 9 of the dating reality show, Love is Blind. 

As per her official bio shared by Netflix Tudum, Ali is 29 years old and works as a nurse in Denver. 

Her star sign is Aries and her official picture for the show is captioned:

“Some might describe me as very blunt.” 

She struck a chord with Anton in the pods during season 9 of Love is Blind and got engaged to him.

Ali was born in Brazil and is a first-generation immigrant. According to her official bio on Netflix Tudum, she is proud to have learnt English and built a life for herself in Denver. 

She wanted to meet a hardworking and ambitious man who has a sense of discipline like hers. 

She also mentioned that she has high standards when it comes to dating, and she wants a person wooing her to rise up to those standards.

Ali had a difficult time dating in Denver as she felt she met a lot of “boys” who had not grown up and she was looking only for a “man.” 

Lima shared that she was looking for a partner who could inspire her to be a better person, and she would reciprocate in the same way. She states: 

“ I’m looking for a leader, somebody that inspires me to be a better person and somebody that I can do the same for.”

She wants a person who has humility because ego is a big no-no for her. 

Ali’s ideal partner would help her with household chores, as she is unable to do so while pursuing another degree. 

She wanted somebody who is supportive of her being busy in school for a couple of years. 

Ali shared:

"If I do find a partner here, they’ll have to be okay with me being in school and being extremely busy for a couple of years.”

Ali immediately felt a deep connection with Anton Yarosh in their very first conversation. 

The duo shared many similarities with each other, including being first-generation immigrants and adapting to new surroundings. 

Anton, like Ali, is an immigrant from Russia. 

She shared about her struggle of adapting to a new country and learning a new language at the age of eight. 

They had a lot of similarities that drew them close like starting to work at a young age, learning responsibility, and independence. 

Anton shared that Ali makes him feel safe and has opened up about his thoughts and emotions like never before. 

Ali happily accepted when Anton popped the question and got engaged. 

But the cracks started to appear in their relationship when they started to live with each other. 

The duo started having differences in regard to finances and money. 

While Ali confessed that she does not want to work, and insisted on maintaining a personal bank account. 

Anton did not agree with her idea of financial independence. 

Lima also discovered that Anton loves to party and frequently visits strip clubs with his friends. 

This newly found knowledge about her fiancé did not sit well with Ali. 

Moreover, she also felt that he was drinking more than usual and questioned if he was truly ready to get married and raise a family.

But after meeting his mother, Ali was reassured about her decision. 

And in the last episode, the duo was eagerly awaiting their wedding day.
