Who is Zoé De Grand Maison? Meet the Actress Playing Agnes in The Summer I Turned Pretty Season 3

Amazon Prime Video rolled out the third and final season of its romantic drama The Summer I Turned Pretty this Wednesday, July 16, 2025. Since its inception with the premiere of Season 1 in June 2022, the coming-of-age series has garnered a large fan base, earning it a rating of 7.3 on IMDb and 75% on the review aggregator Rotten Tomatoes. It was awarded Bingeworthy Show of the Year at the 2024 People’s Choice Awards.

The series was created by Jenny Han, who also wrote the novel trilogy on which the show is based. This series includes The Summer I Turned Pretty (2009), It’s Not Summer Without You (2010), and We’ll Always Have Summer (2011). 

Season 3 of The Summer I Turned Pretty introduced some new faces to its viewers, one of which is Zoé De Grand Maison, who plays Agnes, one of Conrad’s pre-med friends from Stanford. Who is Zoé De Grand Maison?

Zoé De Grand Maison is a Canadian actress. She made her television debut in 2012 with the role of Tara on NBC’s Saving Hope. Later that year, she appeared in Lifetime’s An Officer and a Murderer as Beth Pelway. 

She later appeared on the Canadian TV series Played (2013), Motive (2014), Orphan Black (2014), and Murdoch Mysteries (2015). Recently, she gained popularity for her role as Evelyn Evernever on the CW’s Riverdale. 

Who is Agnes on The Summer I Turned Pretty?

Agnes is a character first introduced in Jenny Han’s third novel, one of Conrad’s confidants from Stanford, who encourages him to do better. While they are described as sharing a sexual relationship occasionally, the first two episodes of the third season depict her as a platonic friend to Conrad. 

In the second episode of season 3, Conrad is let go from his job by Dr Namazy for mislabeling a blood sample, even after he’d been offered the day off and had declined. When Agnes is shown to offer him comfort, it becomes evident that, although this relationship may be platonic, Agnes is still an important character in this storyline.
