Charlie Kirk, political commentator and founder of Turning Point USA, was fatally shot during an event at Utah Valley University. The 31-year-old was holding his Prove Me Wrong event, where he debated with others on politics.

All of a sudden, he was shot in the neck while discussing gun violence with a student. Kirk passed away soon after.

Charlie Kirk married Erika Frantzve in May 2021. The couple has two children. Their daughter was born on August 23, 2022, and their son was born in May 2024.

Erika is a real estate agent with The Corcoran Group in New York City. According to her LinkedIn profile, she is also the founder of Everyday Heroes Like You, a non-profit organization, and Proclaim Streetwear.

Erika Frantzve has a B.S. degree in political science and international relations from Arizona State University.

She later earned a Master's in US law and legal studies from Liberty University and a Doctor of Education in Christian Leadership from the same institution. She was also the Miss Arizona USA in 2012.

Charlie Kirk and Erika Frantzve's relationship explored

The political commentator and Erika Frantzve started dating in September 2018. Erika reminisced over the memory of their first date in an Instagram post in September 2023.

She shared that on their first date, they went to Bill's Burgers in New York City and had a long discussion over "theology, philosophy, and politics."

In a Turning Point USA event in June 2024, Charlie Kirk briefly mentioned his relationship with Erika Frantzve.

An audience member asked Kirk when he knew Erika was "the one" for him, and Kirk shared that he knew immediately.

He said that they had a "long dinner" and called their discussion an "interview."

Kirk then noted that one should interview their partners, and if they don't "check the boxes," they can move on to the next person.

"I knew almost immediately. I met her and we had a very, very long dinner, which was very close to almost an interview. You're going to laugh but you should absolutely interview for your spouse. By the way, if they don't check the boxes move on and go to the next one. Dating for dating's sake is bad for you, it's bad for them, it's bad for everybody," Kirk said.

Charlie Kirk then shared his views on relationships and marriage by saying that marriage should be the end goal of dating, and women should guard themselves.

Kirk advised women to let men "earn" the right to court them.

The political commentator and activist then claimed that hookup culture affected women more than men, as young men supposedly view sex and relationships differently.

Kirk said that men seemingly view sex as something "purely physical."

Charlie Kirk told his female followers to choose between a career and marriage in their early 20s, saying that if they put off dating during that time, they would be single in their 30s.

In other news, Charlie Kirk's shooter has not been found. The authorities stated in a press conference on Wednesday that they were investigating the shooting. Stay tuned for more updates on Charlie Kirk's passing.
