According to a report by Fox 4, the tragic incident involved a woman shooting the victim multiple times before pulling the gun on herself in a murder-suicide.
Soon after, social media posts circulating online, including one by Facebook user @Smash Da Topic, identified the victim as Todd.
Meanwhile, Instagram user @raphousetv alleged that the shooter was his ex-girlfriend and the mother of his child.
Notably, per Fox 4, she was rushed to a local hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries.
As news of Todd Austin's death spread, internet users were quick to express their loss.
Others expressed their horror at the incident.

According to Fox 4, on Friday morning cops responded to a shooting at a hair salon on S. Cooper Street. Witnesses told authorities that a woman entered the salon and shot a customer multiple times.
Cops arrived on the scene just as she was leaving the building. She rushed inside upon seeing them and shot herself.
The outlet did not elaborate on the details further. Facebook user Smash Da Topic, an independent community-based news company, revealed the incident occurred at Salon and Spa Galleria and the victim was Todd Austin.
Further, they added that the woman allegedly had a child with him and she shot him over an alleged domestic dispute.
Per Smash Da Topic, Todd Austin was a well-respected businessman in the community. The 42-year-old ran a credit repair company, helping clients improve their credit reports, according to his Instagram page.
He also provided classes on financial literacy and mentored individuals on the subject.
According to Todd Austin's Instagram page, he recently returned from a vacation in Miami. His followers speculate that this might have been a trigger.
Notably, he shared several photos from the trip to his IG page just a day ago. This included pictures of food, buying jewelry, and even a yacht trip. Austin captioned:
"Miami dump."
A comment under the post by user @nellyros speculated:
"I’m pretty sure this post was the trigger."
While another user (@bellasobeautiful) added:
"@nellyros yes gotta be. She was jealous."
In a separate Facebook post, Smash Da Topic reported that the shooter was believed to be Michelle Williams, 37. Citing "detectives," the user relayed that the pair were previously involved romantically but added that her motive behind the move remained under investigation.
Further, several others present at the hair salon during the shooting were not injured.
It is worth noting that police are still investigating the tragic shooting. They have not confirmed any of the reports, including the name of the shooter.
Further, neither has anyone from Todd Austin's side publicly commented on the same.
