"Frustrated" Walking Dead star is happy to exit the series

"They were aware I wouldn't be unhappy if they got rid of me," says the departing cast member. "I expressed unhappiness last season. I was very frustrated with what the character had been doing." The Walking Dead star said the character "floundered at the Hilltop" after a "cool" entrance, adding: "I spent a long time hoping my character was going to have more to do."
