9-1-1: Lone Star's Ronen Rubinstein says the show has helped him come to terms with his bisexuality

Rubinstein, who plays the gay son of Lowe's character on the Fox procedural, says his on-screen relationship with future police officer boyfriend Carlos Reyes, played by openly gay actor Rafael L. Silva, helped him come to terms with and accepting feelings that he had suppressed for as long as he can remember. Fans of the show have branded the couple "Tarlos." Rubinstein calls his experience a "journey," adding: "I fully identify as bisexual. I literally just got goosebumps saying that. It feels so good to talk about it, it feels so good to finally be comfortable with it.”
