The untitled docuseries is expected to cover the entire life of the music superstar, including never-before-seen footage and home videos. The docuseries will cover everything from the death of his mom Donda West to his failed 2020 presidential run. While Billboard, which first reported the news, says Netflix acquired the docuseries for $30 million, Variety notes that the figure isn't accurate. The docuseries hails from music video producing duo Clarence “Coodie” Simmons and Chike Ozah, better known as Coodie & Chike, who directed and produced West’s 2004 music video “Jesus Walks (Version 3)” and “Through the Wire.”
