A Nurse Ratched Netflix series is in the works from Ryan Murphy and Sarah Paulson

The American Horror Story collaborators will explore the origins of the One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest character, with Paulson playing the infamous nurse while also executive producing. Michael Douglas, who produced the 1975 film will also serve as an executive producer. Netflix has given the series a two-season, 18-episode commitment.
