A TV series based on The Legend of Zelda may be in the works from Adi Shankar

The movie producer behind Lone Survivor and Dredd -- who was recently in the news over The Simpsons' Apu controversy -- posted on Instagram that he was “working with an iconic Japanese gaming company to adapt one of their iconic video game series into a series." Shankar wrote that he'll make an official announcement on Nov. 16. According to The Wrap, the series will be based on the iconic Nintendo video game The Legend of Zelda.
