"We know the stakes are high because broadcast really matters,” ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke said at the TV press tour, adding that major networks can “move culture at a scale no other platform can.” Burke said ABC attracts 150 million monthly viewers across all of its platforms. “And that is why brands still pay us a big premium to advertise on our air, and why competing streamers want to advertise on our air – we just won’t let them," she said.
