Ratings are still rolling out for the late September premiere week, and the numbers have been very good for ABC. The Good Doctor's Season 3 premiere, for example, was watched by 6.26 million viewers based on overnight ratings. But that number has soared to 17.2 million when counting delayed viewership. Grey's Anatomy also saw a big boost for its premiere. "This move aligns us with how we evaluate the comprehensive performance of our shows, how we monetize our business and how our audience chooses to consume our content," ABC Entertainment president Karey Burke said Monday in a memo to staff. "People used to plan their lives around television, now they plan television around their lives."
