ABC gives Schooled a full Season 2 order -- with a showrunner change

The Kids Are Alright creator Tim Doyle, who assumed showruning duties for The Goldbergs spinoff's second season, has departed the series amid the pickup for the back nine episodes. Co-executive producers Tom Hertz and Vanessa McCarthy will take over for Doyle.
