ABC gives a pilot order to Jimmy Kimmel's Green Beret veteran comedy Adopted

Based on a true story, Adopted follows a Green Beret who returns home from military service to Texas, where he and his family struggle with the challenges of adopting his new brother, a 12-year-old Russian boy. Kimmel is co-writing Adopted with two U.S. Army veterans: former Green Beret Shawn Vance and former combat medic Daril Fannin.
