ABC gives a pilot order to Sam Esmail's Acts of Crime

The Mr. Robot creator will write and direct the crime drama, described as a unique spin on the crime procedural. If it's picked up, Acts of Crime would mark Esmail's first network series. He also has another show in the works at ABC.
