ABC will say goodbye to 2017 with a Robin Roberts-hosted two-night, three-hour retrospective

Jimmy Kimmel conceived of the idea for The Year in Memoriam 2017, airing Monday, Dec. 18. The one-hour special will look back at and pay tribute to the big names who died in 2017, including Mary Tyler Moore, Don Rickles and Tom Petty. The Year: 2017 will run two hours the following night. Roberts will host both nights of the 2017 retrospective.
