Adam Sandler's Netflix comedy special sort of reunited him with Paul Thomas Anderson

The acclaimed filmmaker, who directed Sandler in 2002's Punch-Drunk Love, filmed some of the standup scenes for Sandler's first comedy special in 20 years, which was taped last night. But Netflix says the overall special was directed by Steven Brill.
