Jim Abrahams, David Zucker and Jerry Zucker are briefly shown on Episode 1 discussing whether they should've hired O.J. Simpson instead of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar for their iconic 1980 movie. Of course, the trio worked with Simpson in The Naked Gun movies. ALSO: Ted Enberg played his sports broadcasting icon dad Dick Enberg and Succession composer Nicholas Britell also made a cameo.
