The legendary actor is closing in on a deal to make his regular TV series debut on the Jordan Peele-produced 10-episode series The Hunt. Pacino would join Logan Lerman in the drama based on a true story about a group of vigilante Nazi hunters in 1977 New York City. Lerman will play a man who becomes a Nazi Hunter after his grandmother is slain, joining a mysterious organization known as The Hunt. Pacino would play his mentor. According to Deadline, "The Hunters, as they’re known, have discovered that hundreds of high ranking Nazi officials are living among us and conspiring to create a Fourth Reich in the U.S. The eclectic team of Hunters will set out on a bloody quest to bring the Nazis to justice and thwart their new genocidal plans." Pacino's previous roles have mainly been confined to HBO, where he won an Emmy for miniseries Angels in America and the TV movie You Don't Know Jack.
