Amazon Studios exec Joe Lewis, head of comedy and drama, exits following his boss’ departure

Lewis was one of former Amazon head of programming Roy Price’s top executives. In a Wall Street Journal article earlier this month, Lewis was accused of landing his girlfriend, actress Yara Martinez, a full-time role on The Tick — a role originally designed to be played by a male for one episode only. Lewis will still be attached to Amazon Studios via a new production deal.
