Young, who competed on Season 15 in 2016, underwent a 16-hour surgery to remove most of a peach-sized tumor from her front left temporal lobe in February. But she was recently told by doctors that a "second surgery is necessary, followed by weeks of radiation and chemotherapy" to treat her brain cancer. Young is seeking to raise $100,000 for her second surgery, scheduled for May 27.
