TMZ reports that the ABC reality show sent a memo to crew saying: "As we continue to monitor advice from federal and local agencies, it seems unlikely we are going to be able to make it back into the studio for this season of American Idol." TMZ adds that producers are trying to figure out whether it would be feasible for the judges to judge from home. Meanwhile, Idol's crew won't be paid during the coronavirus shutdown.
