American Idol showrunner Trish Kinane is stepping down after five seasons

Kinane led the final season of Idol on Fox and has been at the helm for the first four seasons on ABC. Kinane, who will be replaced by executive producer Megan Michaels Wolflick, will stay on as an executive producer and consultant on Idol.
