Schumer tells Howard Stern that because "I've been burned too many times," she contacted celebrities she planned to make fun of at the Oscars in advance, including Will Smith, Jada Pinkett Smith, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kirsten Dunst and her partner Jesse Plemons. Yet despite Dunst being in on Schumer's seat-filler bit at the Oscars, many online thought that she had insulted the Oscar-nominated actress. "They were so bad the Secret Service reached out to me about that bit," she said. "I was like, 'I think you have the wrong number. It's Amy, not Will,'" she quipped, adding the LAPD was also in touch with her over it. "The misogyny is unbelievable," she said. Schumer also discussed the Will Smith slap of Chris Rock, pointing out that she saw it from the perspective of her close friend -- Rock directed one of her standup specials -- being attacked onstage. Rock even hyped her up before the ceremony. She added: "I just thought — maybe this is bad, I was in an abusive relationship years ago — Will Smith must be in so much pain... I felt bad for him too. That's probably not the right instinct but..."
