Season 4 won't be the last season of the Emmy-winning Amazon series, Sherman-Palladino said during a recent Woodstock Film Festival virtual panel discussion. But the fourth season “will determine how long the show runs… We’ll have to see how much we cry this season," she says, having noted that shooting is more of a challenge in the coronavirus era. "Maisel was created to be a certain kind of show," says Sherman-Palladino. "It’s very big and outdoorsy. It needs space and energy. It’s not a show that exists in a small pocket.”
